FAQs

Q: How do I store Mo’s Cookie Dough?

Our products must be kept chilled. It can be kept refrigerated for up to six weeks and can also be frozen for up to a year.

Q: Can I re-freeze Mo’s Cookie Dough?

Once thawed to room temperature, we recommend that Mo’s Cookie Dough should not be re-frozen. Keep the dough frozen up until use, or refrigerated if products have completely thawed.

Q: Can I just bake a couple of cookies at a time?

Yes. Slightly thaw the whole package of cookie dough for 15 minutes at room temperature. Slice off as many servings as you’d like to bake. Wrap back up and place the dough back in the freezer or refrigerator for future use.

Top Tip: If you would like to bake only a couple of cookies at a time, a good idea is to slice the dough up and then place in individual freezer bags before placing in the freezer. This will ensure that when you come to bake your cookies it is as easy as possible.

Q: Can the dough be cooked from frozen?

Yes when cooking from frozen, slice and bake the cookie dough for 10-13 minutes until the cookies are a light golden brown colour.

Q: How should I store my cookies once they are baked?

Since we don’t use preservatives, baked products stay fresher if kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. If kept frozen, cookies will last for two months. If kept refrigerated, cookies will last for one week.

Q: Can you eat the dough raw?

We use free range pasteurised eggs in our products, which means there is no chance of Salmonella. We still advise you to bake our products before enjoying them!

Q: Can we buy your cookies already baked?

We offer baked products only for events, parties, gift bags, or party favours. If interested, please email morag@moscokiedough.co.uk or call 07519 546905.
